Dear Fabulous Fifth Grader,
I am so happy to have you in my class this year! I hope that you had a great summer and that you are ready to learn and have fun this year!
You might like to know a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Warren. It’s a small city about one hour east of Union City. I went to college at Clarion University of Pennsylvania for five years to become a teacher. I also went to Edinboro University to take more classes and get my Master’s Degree in Reading. I live in Edinboro, which is about 20 minutes west of Union City.
I have two brothers, and one sister. My husband’s name is Jeff, and my dog’s name is Baby. I also have a daughter named Kiara and a son named Kaidan. They are both so adorable!
I have many hobbies. I like camping, hiking, bike riding, and taking pictures. I also enjoy going on motorcycle rides, reading a good book and spending time with my family and friends. My favorite color is blue, and my favorite foods are spaghetti and mashed potatoes. I don’t like bees, creepy-crawly bugs, or people who are mean.
I think of myself as being kind of silly sometimes, and I like to laugh a lot, but I can also be very serious when I need to be. I am so excited to learn about you and to be your teacher for this year. I’m thinking it’s going to be a great year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Smith
